Memphis

I went to Memphis this weekend (not Egypt) and took some fairly strange tourist photos. Most of these are only alright. It was a very nice weekend and a very strange city.

Beale Street
Where there are many good blues bars

a disco in the city, note signs, no discrimination and no drugs. I found this odd.

The Lorraine Motel, this is the balcony where Martin Luther King Jr. was shot. It's a civil rights museum now with a lot of important information.

Graceland.
Look, I have nothing against Elvis, he's the king, a great musician and passable actor, but what a shithole. They do have lots of gold album, grammy's and costumes. I guess it was worth seeing. His airplane was nice.

Christine at Sun Studios holding the same microphone that people like Elvis, Johnny Cash, B.B. King may have used. The Sun Studio tour was really fun.

It's official

It's official, no one is looking at this blog. I shouldn't be surprised. I have no idea how to link it to other sites, nor have I had the time to do it. What did I call this, mental vomiting? No, but it doesn't matter. Strange photographs are a dime a dozen on the web. A dime a dozen, I sound like an old gangster. I'm not. Old, or a gangster. Well, I guess by some standards I'm old, and being a gangster sounds alright. Not the violence, I'm a very non-violent guy, but gangsters always have lots of cash, and my lack of cash and debts really get me down. Well, gangster is not the answer for me. I could never do it. Just not my nature.

IT'S WORKING!

It's working!

I heard from two long lost friends, a total stranger from Scotland with a very nice blog and a woman from Hawaii whose blogs I will check out soon. They look nice from first glance except one of them is dedicated to 9/11 and that was one crazy day for me.

I also got some stupid blog spam but I should have expected that, those wacky spammers.

See what happens, you create a blog and the world opens up like a big smelly flower.
